April 2010

Hi Everyone,

Well here I am again.  Apologies, if you haven’t been able to log on for awhile,  my computer was down; don’t know what happened, but rather like cash, one moment it was there and in the next instance it had all disappeared! Everything is now back to normal.

You’ve probably noticed my DVD page - exciting eh? The last year, since I startedDee Dee’s Dance Club, has been great for me. My dance classes here in The West Country, besides keeping me very fit,  have been very  uplifting; 70’s sounds reverberating across the fields of Wiltshire! I’ve met some wonderful ladies too, all who are keen to dance. And now this has progressed into producing my  Dance DVD -

‘Never Too Late To Dance’ (Click 'MULTI MEDIA' button to view Promo)

The whole workout is a reflection of the classes I do, incorporating dance exercises and dance routines. The girls I teach joined me in the filming and what fun it was too. Hats off to them: they were brilliant! I’m particularly proud as some of them had never danced before. Watching them I hope will encourage others to do the same.  And with each DVD  sold  a donation will be made to the: Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal.

You might remember that my son Alex is in The First Battalion The Welsh Guards and at the end of last year he returned from his 2nd tour in Afghanistan. I was lucky, my son came back but It was a particularly hard tour for the regiment with the loss of some excellent men including their commanding officer.

I have always had it in mind to donate some of the proceeds of the DVD to a charity and when Alex suggested The Welsh Guards and the appeal I jumped at the idea.

Some of you have already bought the DVD and given me extra for the charity.

Thank you for your generosity. But If you are interested to know more about this charity and donations you can log onto: www. welshguardsappeal.com

Regarding Pan’s People -

I have just corresponded with a guy called Keith Rodgerson who used to do our sound at the beeb. We were reminiscing about the time Pan’s visited Broadmoor prison with Jimmy Savile. Pan’s danced for the inmates  and in return they helped Keith set up the music. When we left, all of us were presented with boxes that the inmates had made. Really nice of them. I’ve still got mine.

Well everyone ! thanks for logging on and just one last thing, I might be taking to the road with my classes and coming your way some day, so watch out for the pounding of dancing feet!

Hope 2010 is doing good for you as it is for me.

Cheers,

 Dee Dee
